Several footpaths, freely accessible and open to everyone, are waiting to lead you deep into the heart of this exceptional environment. Your itinerary starts at the Pichelèbe “visitor centre” and ends at the Moliets beach, where the river joins the ocean. So remember to pack the swimsuits!
You prefer to let someone else do all the hard work? Make the journey aboard a traditional “galupe” with one of the Courant d’Huchet boatmen, then just sit back and take your time to appreciate the scenery of this bayou in the Landes. With the family, have fun trying to spot the fish, herons and mink: here nature reigns supreme!

Well known to the locals, it is often considered to be the wildest beach on the Landes coast, offering the décor of your dreams as you look out over the ocean. The perfect spot for a picnic, for basking in the sunshine or for swimming a few strokes to cool off before returning to the campsite!
