Visit Doussard as a couple
If your campsite in Doussard offers a superb view of Lake Annecy, there are also plenty of other viewpoints to appreciate all its beauty from a different angle. To admire it from close quarters, hire a bike and follow the cycle track that will take you all around the lake, one of the most beautiful cycling trails in France. On the way, stop off at one of the many attractive halts to enjoy a break just the two of you, such as the romantic Château de Duingt. Don’t forget the souvenir photo!
At the end of your route, exploring the town of Annecy more than rewards all your efforts. Leave the bikes at the entrance to the town and head off on foot on a veritable treasure trail from one gem to the next: Palais de l’Île, Pont des Amours, Le Pâquier... You’ll have no end of surprises in store for you!
