The campsite and its surroundings

Located midway between the Landes and the Basque Country, Ondres boasts twice as many activities to try, twice as many landscapes to admire and twice as many villages to explore! In the Landes, your holiday programme will include a day in Hossegor and Capbreton, a surf session on the Atlantic, bike rides through the pine glade, and some top-notch gourmet experiences. 

Meanwhile in the Basque Country, the iconic towns of Bayonne, Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz await, along with a host of other Basque villages teeming with character. Finally, why not take advantage of being so close to Spain and spend a day there? Did you know that Hendaye is just a 30-minute train journey from San Sebastián?

The Vélodyssée cycle route: explore the region on two wheels!

Stretching 1,300 km along the Atlantic Coast from Brittany to the Basque Country, the Vélodyssée is regarded as the ultimate cycle path, and it’s easy to see why: cycling along with your family or with your beloved, the ocean as your backdrop, is just about as good as it gets! Near the campsite, the section linking Capbreton to Bayonne is a lovely ride, passing through dunes and forests. Time to hop on your bikes!
