With its lifeguarded beaches, its wide range of watersports and its shallow water, Hourtin Lake is ideal for a family outing. But what your little cherubs will love above all will be the Île aux Enfants (Children's Island), of course! Located at Hourtin Port on the eastern shore of the lake, this surprising outdoor activity centre is free, open all year and totally dedicated to kids. Castle, rope pyramid and a vast playground... It’s time to launch an attack!

For soaking up the sun, pedalling or getting out on the water, Hourtin Lake offers the promise of a delightful outing made for two, as you discover all its idyllic little nooks. At the top of the list: the Piqueyrot beach to the north-west of the lake.
