Each year, the May bank holidays herald the return of the traditional Corso Fleuri in Mèze on the shores of the Étang de Thau. An event that sees the locals parade in carnival costume on monumental floats, to the delight of the spectators who come from the whole of the Hérault and beyond.
After the grand parade, which also celebrates the town’s totem animals, everyone gets together in the central square for a fabulous evening of music. Concerts, refreshments and good humour, the ideal ingredients to guarantee a successful recipe, one that’s already lasted for many a year!
