Created in 1978 by a group of young film fans, the Douarnenez Film Festival has justly become an unmissable summer rendezvous in southern Brittany. Open to everyone without exception, each year this emblematic festival celebrates a different people. Its aim: to shine a spotlight on the cultural struggle or fight for identity being fought by minorities, whatever their origins.
In addition to some 140 screenings that mix fiction, documentary, animation, short and feature-length films, encounters and debates in the presence of producers and directors are organised throughout the festival. In parallel, a mini festival for children, concerts and exhibitions complete the already well-filled days. Unique in Brittany, this is an event not to be missed during your camping stay with Sandaya!
