Camping Grandes Médiévales in Andilly

Take a leap 700 years back in time –  not something you can do every day! The Grandes Médiévales festival, held 30 minutes from Annecy, pulls out all the stops to immerse you in the Middle Ages. With troubadours, street performers, magicians and blacksmiths, there are more than 500 artists and 1,000 costumed extras bringing this unique event to life. 

Alongside the shows, there is an array of activities with a Middle Ages theme, including horseback jousting, vaulting, birds of prey, battles, tales and magic. And to quench your thirst or satisfy your hunger, there are numerous taverns serving delicious fare! A very different, quite wonderful experience!
