Visit Brantôme as a couple
One of the most unmissable sites in Brantôme and perfect for a visit hand-in-hand, the famous Benedictine abbey was founded by Charlemagne himself! Its bell tower, dating from the 11th century, is one of the oldest in France! A listed historical monument, it promises a memorable leap back into the past.
Then it’s time to board the “Drona”, an electric boat that offers an opportunity to explore Brantôme from down on the water. Settle back for a romantic cruise as you discover the flower-filled gardens, the cave dwellings and the Brantôme mill. Finally, stop off in the sublime monks’ garden on the riverbank.
