Visit Maupertus-sur-Mer as a couple
With its architectural heritage and rolling green landscapes, the Cotentin is certainly romantic. And when we say romantic, you no doubt think of châteaux! Dewy-eyed young lovers will love strolling through the gardens of the Château de Carneville, with the 17th-century mansion as their backdrop. Is this France or have you slipped into a Jane Austen novel? Perhaps it’s a bit of both...
In any case, wandering through such a wonderful setting certainly whets the appetite! And that’s not a problem because Cotentin and Normandy are renowned for their gastronomy and local produce. There is something for every taste and appetite, from cider and cheese brioche to seafood and more! Enough to make your mouth water and set your taste buds tingling with every bite. Pull up a chair and tuck in!
