Fromentine, the ideal holiday destination!
As the seaside resort of La Barre-de-Monts, Fromentine awaits you for a holiday in all the sparkling colours of the ocean. Opposite the fabulous islands of Noirmoutier and the Île d’Yeu, it enjoys particularly high levels of sunshine, comparable, they say, to those of the Côte d’Azur. But here you won’t find a sea that’s as calm as a millpond or endless fields of lavender, instead there are waves to fulfil the dreams of all boardsports-lovers and pine forests that stretch as far as the eye can see!
Looking out across this exceptional natural landscape, your campsite in the Vendée offers the comfort of a fully-equipped mobile home, and the authenticity of a pitch for your tent or campervan. Here with Sandaya, relaxation and leisure rule! Make the most of bathing in the heated swimming pools of the water park, relish lazing on the solarium terrace and keep in shape on the sports grounds. After your day rich in entertainment and as the kids return from their day in the free mini clubs, meet up together on the restaurant terrace for a convivial dinner under the stars!
Visit Fromentine with the family
In Fromentine, there is nothing to break your view as the immensity of the ocean stretches all the way to the horizon and beyond! Right next to the campsite, the Vendée beaches reveal an endless stretch of soft fine sand, and those of Fromentine are no exception.
Make the most of your seaside holiday to discover them all, one after another, from the lifeguarded beach in Fromentine where your young campers can splash in total safety, to the natural beach of Les Lays, bordered by the forest of Les Pays-de-Monts. Each will be able to satisfy their thirst for new horizons. It’s time to get going for a kitesurfing or windsurfing session with all the family!
Visit Fromentine as a couple
If Noirmoutier is the perfect island for families, the Île d’Yeu is a pure delight for those in search of a lovers’ tryst! And Fromentine is one of the harbours that offer boat trips to this pearl of the Atlantic. First thing in the morning, it’s time for a quick visit to the campsite grocery store to prepare your picnic, then set your heading for the Île d’Yeu and its 23km² of pure unspoilt nature.
After landing, follow in the footsteps of history with a visit to the Vieux-Château. Then it’s off to conquer the most beautiful beach on the wild or dune-lined coast as you explore one of the many trails, on foot or by bike. Whether edged by white houses, cutting across the moorland or leading to an age-old dolmen, they will all take you far, far away from the everyday!
