You could start off with a bit of beach foraging on the Turballe coast. With crabs, mussels, cockles etc, your baskets will soon be overflowing! And after an obligatory stop-off in one of the town's restaurants, head for the harbour for a visit to the "Maison de la Pêche". This is a really fun museum for everyone to enjoy, and you'll emerge full of new information. Children will especially love the replica of the wheelhouse of a proper fishing boat!

La Turballe is home in fact to a real, natural gem, which also has protected status: Pen Bron, a sandy peninsula between the ocean and the salt marshes. There is a cycle path enabling you to explore the length of this strip of sand dunes between the pine forest and the sea arm of Le Croisic. So get on that bike and take all those sights in!
As a seaside resort, La Turballe has 11 km of beaches waiting to be discovered or for a special bit of relaxation. At low tide, the beach of Ker Élisabeth to the north reveals little coves, which are just the things for an intimate picnic together!
