Still only a young event, the Transat New York Vendée - Les Sables d’Olonne has continued to attract an ever-increasing number of competitors since it was first launched in 2016. And it has to be said that it represents a great opportunity for the skippers to hoist their sails before the Vendée Globe that famous solo round-the-world race that leaves later in the year. Yet another major rendezvous at Les Sables d’Olonne, confirming the Vendée’s status as capital of sailing!
The race is held every year with the sailors heading out across the ocean from Manhattan and reaching the French coast ten or so days later. So we’re counting on you to welcome them in style, on their arrival in the Vendée!
