From Barbâtre, discover the unspoilt landscapes of the Sébastopol Polder to the east or set off towards the little harbour of Le Bonhomme where a delectable oyster-tasting awaits! Love nothing better than a history tour? Then it’s off to the castle-museum of Noirmoutier-en-l’Île, standing proudly in the town centre. Swap the narrow streets for sand dunes as you skirt the Bois de la Chaise woodland between its evergreen oaks and the Atlantic Ocean: it’s hard to imagine a more romantic spot for a refreshing dip just the two of you!
