Nature lovers and enthusiasts of outdoor pursuits – the Ardèche is your dream destination! Take to the water: the Gorges de l’Ardèche are the ideal playground where you can descend the river’s water in a canoe or on a stand-up paddleboard in breathtaking natural surroundings. Back on dry land, there are plenty of other thrills to be had, with canyoning, tree-top adventure trails and pot-holing. And if you fancy a journey back to the early days of Humanity, visit the Chauvet-Pont d’Arc cave and its 30,000-year-old cave paintings, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
